But there’s more to Petra than beauty and Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Evidence shows that this is a Biblical Site as well.

Wanna Eat A 2,600 Year Old Date?

This is incredible!

Dates fruit with mint leaves

Israeli scientists have grown fresh dates from 6th-century BCE seed.

It is believed that seeds were brought by the exiles coming back after the First Temple was destroyed.

Grown from ancient seeds found at Masada and Qumran and likely brought back to Judea from Babylon in the sixth century BCE, the fresh dates symbolize the remarkable resilience of God’s creation.
